Having permission from Karen to post this..

I created a Pet Talk Chat for EVERY PT member regardless of age or interests.

"We" (current members of the chat) decided that we would try to get together 8pm Eastern time EVERYNIGHT to chat. You can come in daily, every other day, or once in a blue moon - your decision!

You must register (requires no downloading) and apply to join. It is a private chat but that does not mean anyone is excluded. This is only so we can keep trolls away.

Please PM ME once you've applied and let me know what your PT name is when you apply. That way I know for sure it's YOU and not someone trying to pass as you. We had banned members coming in and causing trouble in our previous chat and i'm trying to avoid that here.

I joined. I don't know how often I'll be able to post in there, but, it's a cool idea. I sent a request to you, Group Master. Ha ha, for some reason, that sounds so cheesy...Master! Anyway, good idea for a chat room!

I will have to sign-up when I get home from work. This sounds great and I like that we have to register because I was in a PT chat the other day and we had some previous PT members coming in there.

Yeah, just go to register online...instead of downloading icq. I can't remember, but, you may have to put an email address in first...I didn't have an icq # until after I registered.

I think it's just this one time. I don't know for sure, though. I already posted once, though it didn't put my name on the thread, although I was logged in. I guess once kfamr responds to the email request (pretty sure she's the group master), your name will appear on the posts...just guessing, though!

Ok looks like this chat room thing is not working the way it is.
I was there for 30 minutes. Only one person stopped by but they left after about 2 minutes because I was the only one there.

Maybe instead of saying it will start at 8 every night, we should just have everyone who wants to chat post here and see if any one is interested at that time. Then all who can or want to can go to the chat room at that time.

For example; I could ask if anyone would be interested in a chat at 2 in the afternoon on such a day. Then if interest was indicated, we could go for a chat at that time.

This is just an idea. Any other ideas out there?

I do know it's not fun being there all by myself. I won't be there tomorrow night.

I know I've been back about checking in. Part of the problem is that being on the west coast the chat is early and I'm still out at rugby practice or off running errands. I'll try to check in more often.
