    somethings WRONG with major...

I don't know what it is but he is soooooooooooo CALM and I'm so worried about him. He doesn't get excited about food and he's not all excited. I'm thinking either rat poison effect (though he ate it on WEDNESDAY last week, wouldn't this be a little late for somethign to show up???) or maybe hip displaysia, I don't know how early they get that. Anyway, I am REALLY worried about him and the rest of my family is too. We can't take him to the vet right now...hopefully we'll be able to take him tomorrow or the next day if he doesn't get better. Please pray for him, I am so worried.

-thank you Poppy for the avatar.

Why do you think it's Hip problems? Does he have trouble moving?

Have you wormed him recently, worms can cause dogs to feel full and not eat.....

Golden thoughts heading his way from all of us here!

Thank you everyone...he didn't eat his supper last night, until this morning, and if anyone knows a lab, there's something wrong. He'd usually do ANYTHIGN for the smallest morsel.

He was limping a couple days ago and doesn't get up more than he has to.

Would it harm him if I gave him canned pumpkin? Just to rule out the constipated possibility? We arent' sure if he's been going, we're going to check, but would it harm to give him that just incase? Please answer asap.

No get him to the vet ASAP!
I replied to your last post but I don't know if you saw it.
If he is not on Vit K as a daily treatment for at least 2 weeks he can still have complications from it.

Here's the post, my reply second from last on the second page. http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...20#post1264220

I strongly advised you then to call the vet to get him on vit k treatment. I also said symptoms can still occur weeks later.

I don't mean to scare you but I have to tell you the truth, once symptoms start to occur it is usually too late for just the vit k treatment. Usually once symptoms start to occur it is a dire emergency, from blood tranfusions to sadly death.

You's are in my prayers. God I hope I am wrong and it is not the poison but you can't take any chances with it at all.
I wish you's the very best of luck.
    Keep us posted please.

I was so worried I forgot to answer your last question.
I wouldn't feed him anything until you get him to the vet.
