I took Flutter to the adoption day today. Mind you, she went at 3:30 (it ends at 4:00) and she went just to go and make an appearance and *technically* be available for adoption. Meanwhile we all know very well that she already HAS a home

We got there and a strange lady with wild pink hair took her.


She wasn't too thrilled with this strange lady (aka Jen Luckenbach )


If looks could kill


So into the cage we went. She sat there and SHIVERED with fear the entire time.


She was NOT happy


And my heart broke to see this sad face....


so nope... Miss Flutter will not be going to any more adoption events. Its too stressful for her and her meowmie. Nope nope nope.

Well we wont tell of the dirty little secret.. All right Flutter & see there all that winking & purring payed off due to meowmie says you stay home now.. So glad ....

Flutter was really pitiful today. She did not like this idea at ALL!

And the problem is that Kim doesn't want to ADMIT failure (in the fostering department).

Kim did not fail fostering. She got an A++ in adopting! (That's what I tell myself every time a foster turns into a forever!)

Madame Flutter By...we can all keep secrets around here. My RB Bonnie was the same way. Terrified about adoption days, and week after week there was a public pity party for her. The final straw was the day a woman came in, saw my lovely girl with the crippled hind limb, burst into tears, wrote out a check to the shelter and left. Bonnie was my beautiful girl for nine years after, until....I won't get into it.
