    THE LASER. **pics**

so my dogs go INSANE for the laser. I mean, I thought Brock was crazy for it, but Alki has shown a whole new dimention to the laser insanity. it is such a great "toy" because they run so hard and fast for it, even though my apt isnt very big. I created a pathway for them to chase it and its an AWESOME way to wear them out FAST! especially alki.. I mean you really have to see it to believe it. lol so anyway, I took a few photos of them today. They both know "bounce" (jump straight up in the air for a toy), and Ive been shining the laser on my closet door and telling alki to "bounce" up for it, and she wants that thing so badly that she can jump almost to the top of the door for it! (brock is actually a higher jumper than she is but he wont "bounce" inside. I think he feels like theres not enough room for him. even though he has no problems flying through a hula hoop inside.. lol) the space where my closet is, is really tight, so it was hard to get pics, and I couldnt get a full shot but I think you can get a pretty good idea lol:

    waiting for my okay

you can see it on her nose lol

lol the spit on the door

when I was saying "bounce" brock would just stand up on his hind legs lol

I'm glad you finally started to post on here again. I've been dying to hear more aobut Alki since I first "met her." She's precious.

Cute pics! My cats go nuts for the laser, but I've never tried it as a dog toy...hmmm, where is that thing?

    more pics

I took some more pictures of them going crazy again tonight. dont know why I didnt think of this earlier (!!!!!) but I shined the laser on the FRONT door, so I could stand far enough away to get a full shot. lol:

she was sooo tired from running by this time that it took her a few moments to muster up the energy to jump!

Holy cow, that dog can JUMP!

Glacier my cats love the laser toy too, but I never thought of trying it on the dog either. Mine needs new batteries though (so I might as well just buy a new one...)

YES the batteries cost almost $8, and Ive seen these lasers at the grocery store for the same price! the batteries in mine were really low so the dogs had a hard time chasing it, so yesterday I bought new ones and thats what spurred the photo shoot.

my dog's do the same thing if they even hear the lil chain that is on it they look on the floor and start barking and going nutso
same with mine, if I bump the chain and they are in the other room they come racing out here whining and spazzing out. it is so funny!! they have super sonic hearing! lol
