I know a ton of people who have them under 18. Is this a new rule or something? I have never heard of that before. My friends 10 year old daughter has a hotmail account and another friends 12 year old daughter has one. Also my brother and sister who are 15 now have each had a hotmail account since they were 12.

I guess they don't uphold that rule and I don't think many people bother to read the terms and conditions. When you sign up for an account you are asked your date of birth and I know my sister and brother and the other 2 kids I mentioned did put in their real date of birth. So I that would seem that msn doesn't bother to enforce their own rules by preventing them from registering.

My brother has had a hotmail account since he was 5, and we used his real date of birth.

Well I'm 13 and my brother made it for me he used to use it but then he officially gave it to me so now it is official mine but is under my brother's name. I had it since I was in 5th grade so I was 10 years old I suppose.
