It occured to me that not everyone is going to be checking the classified ads, but everybody has to get out and about on base!!
Here is the flyer that I made up. I will put a copy of it on either side window

    Excellent idea!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

I hope Boomer finds a new home soon. I know you will appreciate having one less thing to worry about at a very hectic time, even though you will miss him.

It is a good flyer with a cute picture of Boomer. Do you also
have a plan B just in case no one steps up soon enough? I
wish the little cutie the best home possible.

I'm glad that you think the flyer is a good one.

There aren't any public bulletin boards that I can use We have a board in our building, but seeing as we aren't supposed to have cats it's not a good idea to post it there. As it is we are going to have to park our cars out on the street so that no one figures out that we live here with a kitty

Plan B is to convince a guy from our church that it's more important to give Boomer a good home than it is to follow a silly anti-pet rule He lives in the same type of facility that we do but doesn't want to have a pet because they aren't technically allowed.

If anyone asks, I just tell them that Boomer is a very large, hairy, four-legged, land-dwelling goldfish We're allowed to have fish!
