    Pet Spa

I watched Inside Edition tonight and they had a story on The Pet Spa. For $10 you put your dog in this box and it sprays your dog with water and then soap and then gives your dog a rinse. It cost $10. It looked awful! They showed 3 dogs. The 2 big dogs didn't seem to mind it too much but this little poodle type of dog was freaking out and scratching at the door trying to get out! It looked petrified! I know it's cheap but I think I'll stick with the groomers. Fenway would be afraid to go into that box!

I'll stick to washing my 2 on my own in the bathtub.

That's creepy. MAXIMUS only tolerates getting a shower with Pressley. I don't know how he would react. He does get in the tub himself when he knows there's no escape. What does the box look like? How long does it take? At home, him and Press disappear into the bathroom. Lots of noise and 45 min. to an hour later, out pop two clean boys. Shampoo and conditioner.

    Re: Pet Spa

I think this is a great idea, as long as your dog is not
afraid and the rinse cycle gets all of the soap out.

I can not take my dogs to a groomer,
(Rocky only lets family bath him and believe
    me it is not fun.)
It's funny he will go part way into a lake, but
he will not step foot in his kiddie pool.
The only way I can give him his bath is by hooking
his leash on him so he will not take off.

I will never forget the first time I gave him a bath.
I was hosing him off and he started screaming
bloody murder. You would have thought I was
    killing him.
I guess he did not like cold water, so I paid a plumber to
put a hot water spout in my back yard just for him.
