    Tyler's first train trip!

Getting ready to go to Gyoza House (yummmmmmmmmmy)

Waiting for the train- it is soooo freaking hot and humid in Japan

On the train- he's zonked out

We arrived but the heat just zapped his energy. That bottle of breastmilk was supposed to be his dinner

...but he decided that he would rather have it straight from the tap

Done eating and much more alert and cheerful

That's all. It was a fun evening. On the train he charmed the pants off of these three Japanese ladies. They kept asking us questions in Japanese but all we could do was shrug until a nice Japanese man translated for all of us.

How exciting for the little guy (even though he probably won't remember, although you have pics to prove it ) He sure is getting big. Cute pics.

Aw, he's so cute! Do you get treated well, being an american with a little one? Any different than before you had Tyler? Just curious, you can pm if you'd like.

oh yes, people are sooooo friendly Japanese peopple in general are extremely friendly, but no one can resist a cute baby Funny story.. on the train trip home we were jammed in like sardines and all of the seats were filled. An older lady tapped me on the shoulder and pointed at a middle aged gentleman who was sitting in one of the seats. Without a moments hesitation the man stood up and gestured for me to take his seat. It was so sweet

I have always been treated extremely well here.

awww look at that boy - so sweet! I am glad the trip went so well Missy And - did you have garlic gyoza and then garlic milk??

Tyler looks adorable - after his dinner - all happy and alert.

I also wanted to add that as I have now been to Japan twice - this last trip all alone and bumbling - I can also tell ya'll how very nice and helpful the japanese people are!! Everywhere I went, especially when I was alone- folks went out of their way to help me with luggage, being lost and trying to get me through customs, the airport, bus system and on my way. Very sweet and gracious people indeed. I wish you could have witnessed some of the "conversations" complete with hand signals - hysterical But, it all worked!! They were most kind to THIS traveler to their country.

Wow, Tyler is such a CUTIE Pie!! I bet it's neat living in Japan. Is there a lot of cool places to shop and see?
