Simba is such a cutie. We have a 7-year old orange tabby and he is so sweet and loves to be the baby, carried around, kissed incessantly. You just cannot top an orange cat! Congratulations on COTD.

Rascal took one look at Cat of the Day and said "Orange cats should be Cat of the Day everyday." He recognized one of his own.

My neighbor always says that orange cats have "attitude" and Simba you are living up to your name.

Even though Rascal is a wee bit jealous, we both agree that you are a pretty handsome fellow and we are so happy to see another orange cat stretched out in all of his glory.

Have a wonderful day - and go ahead, open a cupboard or two and have anything you want.

Yes, Lizbud, I was coming in here to say words similar to yours. There is no sweeter sleeper than a kitty cat. And we can take such vicarious enjoyment from their sprawling, luxurious slumber poses.

And then, when their beautiful mascara'd eyelids flicker open and suddenly, the windows to our kitty's soul are again ajar, such a feeling of a beloved Presence returning to our company!

By the way, the title above is a rough quote from my memory of a Shakespeare citation that appeared on a "literate cat" calendar I had a long time ago ...
