    Josie Update

I took Jo to the vet about her paw on Friday. The vet said it almost looked like she stepped on something and sliced her paw. I got some stuff to put on it cause the skin looks infected. She said the actual "wound" looks like it's healing nicely though.

Also, another proud momment for me! Some of you might know Josie is HORRIBLE at the vet. She barks going into the room, and howls when the vet comes in. She just freaks out.

Friday though, she barked maybe 3 times?? That's it! She even let the vet handle her sore paw! I was so incredible proud of her. She hasn't been that good in a LOOONG time. She still bark a little outside the room, but still..she was very good.

This man came in though, and she went over to sniff and as soon as he saw her he jumped back...I guess it scared Josie too, cause she howled at him which scared him even more. I told him she was just scared. He said "Yeah, me too" His wife said he was afraid of dogs...I can't really blame her, but I feel bad for the guy.

Poor Josie. Kiss her on the paw for me. I'm glad she did so well at the vet. Hope she heals soon.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
