    Seasonal views...pics

    I went kayaking on the lake closest to my house today, Mary Lake.

    This is the view I have posted before. This was taken on March 26, 2005.


    Same lake heading the same direction this afternoon.


    Little farther down the lake.

    Mary Lake is considered a "dead lake" by the gov't biologists as no fish live in it. It freezes to the bottom in the winter so fish wouldn't survive in it. However, the lake was full of life today--tons of ducks and other water birds and a family of beavers!
