Oz back from the Groomer - pics

Just got home with Oz from the groomer. They did a great job! He looks so spiffy and smells so wonderful. In fact, Gull didn't know who he was at first. As soon as I walked in the door with Oz and before Gull could even see him, Gull went nutz. Barking and carrying on. He's never done that before. Unbelievable how incredible their smellers must be, for him to know through a closed door that Oz didn't smell right. After they got together he continued sniffing and circling Oz for about 10 mins, until he finally decided, "Oh wait I know you".

Here's some pics of Oz in his bandana, which latest about 20 mins fore Gull took it off of him. Doesn't really come through too much in the pics that he was groomed. Ah if you could only smell him and touch his fur through your computer screen.











They did so good and he did so good, that I've already made an appointment for Gull in a couple of weeks. Think I may do this twice a year now during shedding season.

If only! Your boys are too handsome. I've always been partial to Oz. I think it's probably the tan coloring, and I remember us comparing Nala and Oz. They'd make a cute couple.

Ohhh, I just love your boys! You know I do. Oz, I bet you smell so good and feel so soft!! This reminds me that I need to make an appointment for Katie and Tori. They have only been to the groomers once before but Alden liked they way they smelled and felt and how they looked so pretty that he wants it done more often....lol. That man just loves those girls of ours...lol

Thank you so much for sharing your furkids with us. I was just doing some research about collies last night. Not that I'm getting another dog...lol. I would just love to have a collie some day though. You, Oz and Gully have got me hooked!

I forgot to tell my Cat story from yesterday. Wish I'd had my video camera with me. There's a really dog-friendly, white Cat that hangs out in the vet's office. Him and Murph are like *this*, amazingly enough, because Murph normally hates Cats. Well Oz went running up to him and got down low to the ground to play with him and the Cat started batting him in the nose. In a playful way. It was so cute. I'm not normally a Cat person, but if I could find a Cat like him, I might consider it.


Hi fishjade! Murph is actually a Cairn Terrier, like Toto from the Wizard of Oz. Some of his coat is white, which is considered a fault, but he's mostly a light cream color. It's just with the lighting, taking the pictures, it comes out looking more whiteish, then it is in real life.
