    The new guy--tons of pics!

I'll let Bandit introduce himself. So far everything is great!

Hi Pettalkers, I'm da new guy here. I've only been here for a few hours, but I've been very busy. First I went for a truck ride. It seemed to take forever to get here. I thought I was going for a walk, so I was kinda anxious to get going! I've been cooped up all day in a stupid little kennel! But instead we pulled into this yard and all these crazy huskies started barking at me. The man human that I know from the shelter shooed them all away and then I went for a really short walk.

I went into this little pen. There was a fence between me and the other dogs, but we could still sniff each other. The nice lady, my chauffer, stayed in there with me, but I didn't pay her much attention. I'm kinda of aloof, she says, whatever that means!

I met this dog named Mac. He seems nice.

Then I met Kayleigh. She is really big, but she seemed ok too. The humans gave her a bone and said something about what a good girl she was for being nice to me. Why wouldn't she be nice to me?

Then I met Sleet and Delta. They seemed ok too, but Delta barked at me alot.

Then the humans left me alone for awhile so I could sniff and relax a bit.

I decided to make the pen smell like me while they were gone.

Then the lady brought me some supper. I had eaten at the shelter, but I never turn down a meal so I ate again! While I was eating these other two dogs were watching me!

This is one of them, Founder. He seemed real anxious to meet me!
So he popped the gate open and we were all together.

Founder showed me around his pen.

He showed me all the best places to smell.

He showed me where to find the water.

I like that big water bowl. I am a thristy boy!

Then I met Raven. I think I love her!

Hey, Raven, wanna play with me??

Sure enough, she did want to play. We played chase and wrestle or as the human calls it "HUSKY WWF". Raven is so much fun! She's my new bestest friend. I didn't even notice when the lady human left the pen. I am too busy playing and running and smelling and having fun.

The lady says to tell you that I did growl at her once, but it wasn't mean. It was just an "i don't know you, what are you gunna do to me?" kinda growl. She seems ok now and Raven trusts her so I guess she must be alright. She also says to tell you that I don't seem to be aggressive at all. It sounds like that's a very good thing!

That's all for now! Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to your new home, Bandit2. I really enjoyed reading the story of your first day at your new home, and it sounds like you are going to fit in fine. How lucky for you that you found such a great new home with so many furbrothers and fursisters and great humans.
