    Jesse has a problem

    I have a question...Ever since Jesse got her leg amputated, she has been mean and defensive towards me and dogs. The person who "caused her pain" and amputed her leg was a man, could that be connected? She has finally accepted Sally (rizzy's dog) after two years Any suggestions?

    i thought i would bump up this message seeing as it had no replies, maybe she needs to feel like she can trust everyone again how about some alone time with her without your other dog to see if you can work her around to being nice to you again? im sorry i dont really know what to say

    Awww.

    I have no real advise for you.. but ive heard of cats that have been declawed that become grumps and just overall have a total personality change..

    i know this is very much different...
    but just wanted to wish you and your dog the very best of luck.
