    Which breed am I?

I can't find a game like this yet and I'm unbelievably bored, so...It's like Jeopardy. You give a description of *blank* breed's origin and history and the poster will guess which breed it is.

Example: This breed originated in China, and for thousands of years, only royalty could obtain these dogs. They are said to be the product of a love affair between a marmoset and a lion. Some dogs weigh as little as 6 lbs and are referred to as "sleeve" dogs. What breed is this?

Answer: Pekingese (feel free to attach a picture)

I'll go: This breed is a hound of Malta, bred for hunting rabbits. It is not clear whether it arrived in ancient Malta from Egypt via Phonecian trading ships. Though it is said that the breed has been in existence for over 2,000 years, recent genetic studies have proven otherwise. It is sometimes called "The Dog of the Rabbit". What breed is this?

This breed originated in the 18th century and it’s also known as “a dog of the people.” It was first introduced into the UK by Mrs. Wingfield-Digby and did not become popular until 1920, when it arrived in the US

CAN WE ALSO START POSTING PICS OF THE BREED??

What do you mean start posting pictures? You mean like as a part of the description? If so, then it's really your choice, but then it'd be too easy, especially with the more common breeds (most AKC recognized breeds).

Oh yeah! That's exactly what you should do

The ancestors of this breed were carried into the Mediterranean area by Phoenician traders long ago. Before long, they became very popular in many countries including Teneriffe, the largest of the Canary Islands. This breed is thought to be descended from the Barbet, or Water Spaniel. 400 years later, the breed found its way performing in circuses. Which breed is this?
