As you may or may not remember, I adopted Redfurd and Baxter together from the pound. They both had the URI when I got them, but because Redfurd had already had shots in his previous life, he faired pretty well. Poor Baxter had a terrible time though. He had the Calici virus, with all the tongue and mouth sores. They bled and he drooled for 2 weeks straight. He survived on water-packed tuna, and lots of love from me! THANK GOD, he is back to himself, and beautiful (handsome) as ever!

He has lost weight, of course, but that will pick back up in no time now that he can eat again!
