    Kitty crafts - yet another!

    catcrazylady showed me these kitty quilt squares. I rarely manage to finish quilts, but I can finish pillows made from one quilt square Here is today's crafty effort...

    This just shows up the face, button eyes and the cording around the edge. Isn't he cute??

    I take quilting in spurts and may make 2 in one year, then I won't make another one for years. I'd love a kitty quilt but I really have no place for one and sure don't need another pillow... but that is so cute!!!!!

    It would be a nice GIFT!! Yaa! A gift!

    That looks perfect to me, Debbie!! Is it possible to draw the pattern on a piece of paper, and send it to me? We defenitely need new cushion covers here, and it would be lobely to have a quilted cat on them!!

    YEA!!! Debbie you did it!! It wasn't that hard was it? I know you thought it looked complicated but it wasn't was it? Once you make the first one it is a piece of cake.
    I love it and it looks perfect to me! Now you need another one for the other end of the couch! I did some of mine in reverse, facing the other way. I had to lay out my pieces and watch what I was doing though because it is backwards from the instructions but they turned out fine too. The ear, feet, body section was the same but the other two sections had to be reversed.

    Very very cute!!!

    YES, like Lisa said it was incredibly easy even though it looks complicated The directions are here.

    I have it on the rocking chair in my living room and am itching to make another!! It could also be made into things like placemats, wall hangings, etc instead of a quilt

    i gotta question regarding the ears when you swe them on i just dont get it the directions make no sense in that area i understand the rest of the directions just not that part to me i feel like the ears would be wierd looking someone help lol i cant finnish mine til i get the ears done lol

    That is adorable .... and I love the quilt Lisa made too! You both are so talented. I never have been a sewer. I think I could stitch up a pillow ... but don't think I could do that ribbed edge though!
