    My latest pregnancy project :)

Hey everybody I have gotten pretty crafty in the past few months and have made lots of things for Tyler.
First, here is a blanket that I made for him using a technique called Swedish Weaving:

Here are the coloring pages that I colored, cut out, and laminated for his door:

And here is my latest project Thanks to a hiccup in a Walmart order from my Mom, I ended up with an extra bed skirt that matches my crib set. I used that fabric to make these cute little things :

    That's all for now

oh Missy! The blanket turned out beautifully!!! Also, the letters you made are SO PRETTY!!! You are getting crafty aren't you?? They really look nice on the wall - and looks like you have quite a collection of baby things

Could you show the letters AND the crib skirt in one picture??

Lovely! You are crafty. Those special touches really add a lot to the room.

I hope Tyler is a tiny baby that doesn't move very much! How else will he fit in the crib?

Lol! the crib is just a temporary holding facility for the car seats until next week when I install them in the cars

On another note, I hope that he IS a relatively small baby, with a relatively small head that fits easily down a VERY narrow tunnel

Missy your projects look wonderful. Wish I had half you talent. Where did you find that Swedish weaving instructions? I love the look of that.

My Mom taught me how to do the swedish weaving You just start with a plain piece of monks cloth, which is like a very soft burlap, and weave the yarn in, counting out a pattern. It's hard to describe, but if you google swedish weaving you'll find lots of cool resources I'm glad you like it This is the third blanket that I have made. The first was for my hubby when he first moved over here to Japan and was still my fiance The second was for my niece Misha, and now this one for my little boy
