Thread: Poor Youkai

    Poor Youkai

I noticed Youkai had a bit of retained shed on the very tip of her tail, so I gently soaked her and worked the shed off. Her tail began bleeding, and she was VERY upset with me, hissing and lunging.

Poor girl. I slathered some antibiotic ointment on it, and she calmed down almost immediately... then I rubbed it in a little bit, and used some of that liquid band-aid stuff. She was VERY happy after that, and cheered right up. She wrapped herself around my arm and just sat there, looking up at me.

So cute. She'll be fine though - Her tail should heal up.

Glad she's better! Is she a snake?

    Yeah. She's a Guyana Red-Tailed Boa Constrictor.

I'm glad its all okay now . I had to do that with Blink before, he was not happy with me either! But his tail looks pretty now and has forgiven me
