I need prayers for Big Guy!!and some questions

well guys about 2 days ago big guy started limping very lightly and I didn't think to much of it just acted like he was a little sore so I lunged him lightly and it went away well I went out there yesterday and he could barely walk!! ! I felt so bad!!!! his ankle was slightly swollen and he wouldn't put any pressure on it so I rushed to the feed store to get some vet wrap and ointment well the first store didn't have any but the second store had some Absorbine veterinnary liniment (it smells just like icey hot) so I put that on there like the directions said and lightly wraped it and the swelling seems to have gone down today . but he is still limping does anyone have any other advice on what I should do??? any meds.? anyone had this happen before? I had my cousin look at him (she owns alot of horses and works at a vet clinic she is visiting from colorado) and she sad it looks like he might have just sprang it so please pray that he gets better soon

I wish I knew what to tell you, but I don't really know much about horse care . I would guess to keep him as still as possible and do what you're doing. Prayers on the way that sweet Big Guy heals up soon!
