First pics with the new camera..

Poor Sleet. She was inside when the batteries were finally charged so she was my first canine subject!

Sheesh, a girl can't even nap around this place!

Oh, I'm thrilled, a new flashy thing! Great!

Sleet may not be thrilled, but I am! It's going to take awhile to figure out all the stuff this camera does. It's way more advanced than my point and shoot one was! These pics are unedited except for resizing. So far, I am delighted!

It's an Olympus C-5060. I can't wait to play with it outside this weekend!

What cute pics of Sleet. I can't wait to see what your camera can do outside, either. That flash is great. Would be nice not to have to touch up the eyes all the time.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
