    Sexing My Indian Ringnecks

    Hi I Have just be giving 2 Indian Ringnecks as they where kept in a small cage. And they where fighting I have put them into my avarey with Kakkarikes Red Rumps Cocatiles Budgies & Bengalies Fiches.The get on fine with all the birds and have not been fighting, i have put nest boxes in for all the other bird and the 2 ringnecks. Both of them have taken a nest box each but they call to each other, 1 is a green with a dull ring around it's neck and the other 1 is a lutino how can i sex these birds can any one help me please.

    It sounds like they are both females. They are very easy to sex. Females and young males (under 2 years of age) have a very light ring. Adult males have a much more defined ring.

    The male lutinos won't have the black in their ring.
