I took Katie and Tori out to my folks place so we could go on a big walk for Katie's birthday. Mom and dad have quite a bit of land and the girls love it out there. I'm going to have to convince my parents to fence it all in so we can have a dog park and invite all of our pet talk friends.
I had a really hard time at first. The girls were super excited and all they wanted to do was drag me behind them. I had 20 ft. leashes on them that I hadn't used before and at first we were just a tangled mess...lol. I'm trying to hang on to the leashes with one hand and I have my camera in the other. I almost just gave up and went back home. I gave up on the pictures for awhile and just walked them for a bit so they could calm down. We still kept getting tangled up in those leashes...lol. I finally gave up and just dropped Katie's. We have done this before but I've never been alone and done it. She was wonderful. Stayed right with me and Tori. Every once in awhile I would give her a warning noise to let her know that she was getting to far away and she would stop and wait for us. This could never happen with Tori. I swear she just has one thing on her mind....RUN!
I didn't get very good pictures. They were fascinated by all the smells so I got alot of curly tail butt pics and pics of then rooting and sniffing at the ground.
