Home at last - safe, sound, and pooped...

    (K. here; L already off to bed We returned home tonight - 2 1/2 hours later than originally scheduled; damn airlines. This will be a short post...

After tossing the luggage in a cat-free room (lest the cats mark the suitcases containing faint scents of those cats we visited) we both hurried to get on-line and catch up on our recent visits during the great PT tour of Spring 2005 from the hosts' perspectives.

First, thanks to ALL for your generous and warm hospitality. Each visit was a special treat for all of us and significantly contributed to making our vacation a singular success. Though too short, our visits with you were wonderful experiences for Lisa and me, and treats for the girls as well. And the resident cats at each stop really helped us deal with the emptiness from missing our own broods.

We took many dozens of photos during our four PT stops - over 300 during the entire trip. It will take us quit some time to review and process them. We intend to submit separate 'chapter' entries detailing each visit or vacation event. Look for the first submission in the next day or so.

In the mean time here are four tickler shots - one from each PT visit:

    Magoo and friends in Shelbyville:

    Partying in Allentown:

    Defrosting in Dayton:

    An unquinchable thirst in Cincy:

Thanks again to everyone! It has been a wonderous few weeks.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Awe! You done it now! I actually cried when I saw the one of L petting my Magoo!! I am so in love with him that I am having fits to meet that boy and I know I would ball like a baby if I ever did.

Glad you had such a wonderful trip and I am so jealous. Get rested, love your own babies then remember, we are all sitting here waiting for the pictures, especially ME!
