    Logan, Butter....Peanut's bare legs

Logan, here are some pics of Peanut's bare legs. Sometimes she is just the best little poser.

One leg, but not too clear. This is the worst of the two.

Both legs - hold them high Peanut!

Mom, show a picture of the top of my leg...it looks sooo much prettier than the bottom!

After I let her go she had to go attack her box.

Don't you get it mom? Put - the - flashy - thing - away - already! Better listen or I'll blast you with my laser eyes!

I can't really tell from the pictures, but I do think that Peanut's problems are very different from Butter's probably. You saw how red and raw his were? That's what he does to his entire body, especially on the legs and belly.

My friend, Pam, has a cat, Piper, who was a "puller". He pulled his fur from his belly, constantly, and it was determined to be stress related. Well, we know that Buttercup has no stress, for sure! LOL!!!! His is definitely allergy related, but Dr. Robinson doesn't think it has anything to do with food. Sure wish we could figure out what causes it, though.

Deirdre pulls the hair from her legs also. It comes and goes all the time. For a while there she had almost no hair on her belly, insides of her back legs and her front legs. We treated with all sorts of meds and nothing seemed to help. I gave up. She now has a short patch on the outside of one thigh and her right frong leg has an interesting spiral pattern and that is it. I thought when Trouble and Sequoia entered our household she would be completely bald from the stress but actually she has been better. I think she is so busy running and defending herself from Trouble that she doesn't have time to pull her hair out.

Rb Mr Scrappy, went through, that phase, about three years, before he became an Angel. His thyroid, was way out of balance, and he licked his stomach, and legs ,out of balance, and he had licked his stomach, and legs, clean,of fur.He got some Clavo something, from the Vets, and that cured, him, for a while.

I sure miss those Misters Scrappy, and Fluffy!

Logan I agree- although Peanut's paws look a little worn out they do not look like what Butter did to himself

I wonder what the reason is but hope he'll be on the road to recovery.

I would expect something like that with a very active guy who does not have enough possibilities for activity ( as in a zoo or a cage) but knowing that Butter can go out and can be nawtee I really wonder

Kisses to my dear little friend.
