    Centennial Thursday #100

**cough cough** **sniff sniff** **blow blow** **sneeze sneeze**
OK, I'm home from work sick with the world's worst code in da nooze and can't wait for da bar to open....so I guess I'll do it myself.

Can't really think of a theme right now or a DOTD. Maybe we could just list our most memorable experiences at Thursday's. I think the best one for me was the field trip....now where did we go again?? Was it Connie's place? Oh dear, either my memory is failing or it's all the drugs I'm taking.

A shot of brandy otta do the trick. Richard, you've got to figure out what to do with that monitor. Can you request to move your desk? You must really be going into withdrawal about now.

I'm going into the back to grab the ladder to put up these "100" ballons and streamers. Mario, want to come and help me? We are also celebrating a very special birthday too...our very own Karen (Wolflady). So we've got to dress this place up to the max.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Oh phooey Slick, you shouldn't be working in your weakened, druggy situation. Mario & I can decorate and I'll send "Mr Slick" with the modified, hot bod over with a brandy While I'm behind the bar I'm going to fix a STRONG martini for Cheryl (E-theSpoiled). We just got back from having lunch together and trust me on this... she needs more than one I think. Job frustrations are the rage around here lately aren't they BUT, it's Karen's birthday and no moping aloud! So take some more drugs Slick and here Cheryl, put on a party hat and help Mario tie up the Centennial Banner!

edit * goofy me, I spelled allowed as "aloud". Well no moping aloud OR quietly

Is that 100 helium balloons? No, Mario, don't put that in your mouth! Oh no! His little voice has gone up several octaves! He really was just trying to help!

I'll take a CNT, shaken, not stirred.

Perhaps we could come up with some Thursday-appropriate drink with Nyquil? Flaming Nyquil shots?

Cheryl - srong martini - DONE! Nice to see you here. Dang you Laurie...the next time you get together give her a hug from me.

Richard - there's plenty of kleenex behind the bar. Help yourself and tell Big Brother that you've got to get your priorities straight. Maybe we can practice synchronized sneezing....a new olympic event.

David - no problem. Just sit down and relax. Mario and I've got all the streamers and balloons up. You just keep an eye on that coffee. I'll whip up some Bailey's.

RedHedd - CNT shaken not stirred - DONE! Flaming Nyquil shots? Too funny...but it would probably work...just wake me up tomorrow.

PC - Raspberry martini - DONE!

No Mario, you can't use your hands to eat the ice cream.....

The most memorable Thursday moments? gee, where to I start...

For me it is when I see something outside of "Thursdays" that takes me back here.

A jar of cherries at the grocery store.

    A Haz-mat sign.

    Onion-rings.

finishing a task at work and saying to myself "DONE"

I could go on and on but I think you get the idea.

Most of all, that I feel like you are all really my friends, not just people at the other end of a keyboard out there somewhere.

Hey everybody! Looks like this week life is a bowl of cherries! I love cherry cake and cherry ice cream with the little chunks of cherry in it....cherry coke....not so much...just regular coke will do for me.

Slick, watch out! <grabs Slick's hair back from her face> you have to be careful when you're bending over those flaming nyquil shots! Can't have a singed and frazzled cousing ITT on our hands!

Since being in the dumps is not aloud this week, I'll just quietly take my 5 pitchers of red slushies over in the corner and mope for awhile. Maybe all the festive decorations will cheer me up.

If the decorations don't cheer you up, just listen to Mario try to sing "Happy Birthday" after sucking on a helium baloon

OMD....is this what we've got to look forward to in July?? Gini, we'd better set the tent up in the back yard beside the sandbox and the petting zoo....
    <grabs Slick's hair back from her face>

Thanks Debbie. Whew! Only a priviledged few get to touch my hair....
    Regular coke - DONE!

OK, since this is a partee, I've got some partee appies here. There's one party tray of deli meat, another one with cheezes, pickles, olives, etc., and the third one has sliced veggies. Just strut up the "sandwich bar" and help yourself to the freshly baked coissants and buns. Condiments are on the bar.

I've found the perfect drink for us! It's a banana split one.
Happy 100 Thursdays! Everyone enjoy. I'm celebrating learning a tiny bit more of Photoshop thanks to tomkatzid. I love my new sig.
    Banana Split recipe
    1 shot banana liqueur
    1 shot Kahlua® coffee liqueur
    half-and-half
    fill with pineapple juice
    cherries

    Method
Combine ingredients, shake, and pour over ice. Garnish with cherries.
And Mario, we have cherries so you can have more than one in your drink.

    9/3/13
I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
