MLA style papers - help!

I have a research paper due, and I can't for the live of me figure these things out.

One thing, the work cited. How do I do this for an internet source? An encyclopedia? (no one author)

Also, if I have quotes I know you're suppost to put something like (394) after it for the page number?? Again, what if it's from the net??

If there are no dates, go with the date you accessed it.

MLA format is the bane of every student's existence.

Also, what is that Smith thingie at the top right? Is that the writers name...?

You'll want to check with your teacher to see if you need a title at the top or a cover page. I think with MLA that you generally use the title at the top. The S. Smith is the paper author's first initial and last name, and the one is (obviously) the page number.

If they showed the second page of that sample paper, it would say, "S. Smith 2" at the top.
