    Prairie Dog ????

    Here's the scoop...

    My mom is taking a Prairie Dog from lady she works with because her husband is extremely allergic and it needs to leave ASAP.

    I have NO CLUE about a Prairie dog, but from what I'm reading, they get very attached to their owners early in life and don't do well when being introduced to new people.

    Not only that, but we have 3 dogs and 1 cat in the house...plus a baby pup coming home on Saturday! She said it was fiesty and would do fine with other animals?!?!?

    Has anyone had any experience/know what we should do?? This is not an animal I think I would like to keep...maybe "foster" and find a home for it. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    I would suggest fostering the prairie dog, and slowly introduce it to all your pets. Good Luck!!
