I like chickens! I'm sorry, but I don't have one as a pet, so I have nothing to offer you on that subject. But I do have questions! Can chickens bond with their owners like other pets do? Do chickens "play"? What kind of chickens do you have?![]()
Yes chickens can bond with there owner. But usally only if you have them from a chick,or you could have an adult chicken that is a calm breed like silkies and Slutans wich are natuarly calm. I have 2 light brahma pullets(under a year old female) and 1 brahma cockrel(under a year male)(brahma) This breed are gentle giants! Then there is my first chicken named pearl and she is a WCB(White Crested Black) polish hen. She will fallow me when I go looking for things for her to eat ,like: Worms, bugs. You should look these breeds up. I have not really had any experiance on chickens playing but it's posible. If you need any more info on chickens post another message.

Those chickens are so cute. are their feathers just silky or do they really have hair
They have long silky like hair feathers around the neck , but the rest of the body has really nice soft, silky feathers. They have big featherd covered feet. The males are really beautiful.
Couldn't bring up the pic. but your chickens sound so sweet and beautiful. I find all feathered "kids" beautiful and very interesting in their behavior. Thanks for sharing your "family!"
