    Sydney Royal Easter Show -schnauzers

A few pics I took when at the Easter Show on thursday. There were some beautiful schnauzers there, though as Carole said, " Not as pretty as our two" (I freely admit we are biased in this regard )

    The winner (standard)

    Mini's being shown.

Well, I agree they are not as good looking as your guys. Do you show Oggy and Flute? Please forgive my ignorance, Trevor, but the Royal Easter show. Is it a National Show or a breed show? Well, it looks like the weather was rather nice. And it's always a good time at a dog show

Looks like a beautiful day and a nice show! But I have to agree, I think Oggy and Flute are way cuter

Thankyou, I reckon our two would give a lot better and wetter kisses.

The Royal Easter Show is THE show when it comes to dogs. There are various national titles and so forth, but for shear prestige the Royal is the one to win at. Everyone wants to win the Royal. We don't show our kids, but Flute's litter brother was shown, but unfortunately didn't come first . I thought he did enough to win but.

How neat! I bet it was cool seeing all the different entries.

    Thanks for taking pictures.

Have you ever seen a Giant Schnauzer? One of the therapists I work with has one, Bailey, and she's a doll. Such a neat dog.

thanks for the pictures! It must have been difficult to judge them, they all look alike

I have never seen standard schauzers by the way, the miniature ones seem to be more popular in my area.

    thanks k9krazee for the signature!

There were a few giants in the grooming area where people could go and watch the dogs being prepared. The giants are just awesome beautiful dogs. Carole fell in love with them immeadiately of course. They are quite rare down under though and terribly expensive. (up towards $10,000. ) Everyone who has a giant would show them, so it's uncommon to have one just as a family member.

Vin, standards are basically the same except double in size, and giants double again.
