How much does your paperweight weigh?

Mine is ORANGEand weighs about 15 pounds.

Even though my model is about seven years old, it is self cleaning and keeps papers in place like no other!

However, for some reason from time to time it just flies off of my desk and scatters the papers.

I don't plan on returning it though!

Mine is a grey and white model that weighs all of 6 pounds. It has an added feature! Not only is it a paperweight, it doubles as a paper shredder!

Yesssiree! I love my combo paperweight/shredder. Everyone should have at least one in their house.

We have so many ranging from a mere 5 lbs. to a whopping 26 lbs. Most are between 13 - 16 lbs.

My paperweight is about 8 lbs and has long white hair. "He" sits on the side of the computer and holds some papers down however sometimes his swishing tail will knock them off. Now some would call him a "defective" model that should be returned but I'm afraid the warranty is up so he's a keeper.

Sonny doesn't make a paperweight of himself anymore, but he used to be my 20lb paperweight. Now it's Requiem's job, so half an ounce.

I have 2 that act as paperweights - Leo weighs 17 lbs, a few oz, and Claudia weights 9 lbs, 4 oz. Claudia is also one of those dual-action paperweights/paper shredders!

Thanks to krazyaboutkatz for the cute avatar and wolf_Q for the cute siggy!

Rest in Peace, sweet Leo. You are sorely missed!
Since I last posted, we have another new addition - Tabitha, as of fall 2008.

    LOL!! Great thread Gini!!
Maya is our "newspaper-weight" here! After reading the paper, I always lay it on the couch for my hubby. That is where Maya comes in: she lays on the paper, turing around like a dog, untill the paper is ironed to her satisfaction! She is ready for a nap-on-the-paper then!!

    LOL!!! Cute thread!
I have one very serious paperweight here. He is mostly white, yellowed eyed, and he HATES catalogs! He knows I shouldn't be doing any shopping so he removes any temptation by weighing down and shredding the evil catalogs! I think he weighs in at about 14 pounds.

I think that there ought to be a PaperWeight Award! The heaviest and most efficient should get the award.

No sleeping on the job though!

Here is my 12 lb paperweight, Becky. She also hates catalogs (see the Land's End?)

This would be a good thread to mentioned what my coworker's vet told her...

He said ANY cat that was OVER 10 lbs was OVERWEIGHT! Ha ha

My paperweights come as a pair!

The orange tabby one is 20 pounds, the brown tabby one is 14 pounds. Together, thats some major paper weighing!
