My grandmother lives in CA and says her memory tells her that those on death row cost tax payers more (in CA) than those serving life sentences because of all the numerous appeals the person has a right to. It can take up to 20 plus years and the people are paying for all the the appeals for nothing-- but it is his right. It's been going on for a long time. It seems that it is less costly for taxpayers to put people on life in prison. And more tortutuous I would think. Personally, I would like a confession.

What is the matter with the jurors on this case?
The red haired gal, Strawberry Short KOOK, was in the back ground at a press conference and you could hear here plainly say the word 'A-hole'. She directed the word toward Peterson.....I have no problem with that.
But to be stupid enough to say it in front of a live mic made my jaw drop.

if only it were that easy. same here. wish i followed some of these cases closer, what evidence did they have to state the guilty verdict? I thought it was all circumstancial with no dna evidence?Originally posted by leslie
