Sudilar! How about an update on your babies?

I'm hoping that no news is good news and that Killian and Shiloh are doing great, but it sure would be nice to have an update on them!!!

Ohhhh, I just saw this now!! I have been having internet connection problems lately (some days I can't even connect).

Thank you so very much for asking about my babies!!!
Killian just turned 11! (or at least that's what we think, since he was a rescue). He is doing considerably well for all his health problems. At the moment, his Cushings seems to be giving him a problem. His legs are very weak, wobbly and he walks very low on his pasterns. Rear muscle weakness has set in and that worries me so that I wonder if he will continue to be able to use his rear legs. However, his spirit is very high. He even tries to pick an occasional play fight with Shiloh!!

Shiloh's arthritis may be bothering her a bit because she is a lot more careful jumping up on the couch or bed. Other than that, she is still her sassy self! She is trying to take over the rule of the house from Killian, but he isn't ready to let her yet! LOL

Thanks so much for asking!!! Hope all your puppers are doing well!

    Thanks for the update Sue!

Sorry to hear they are both a little slower but it's great to hear they are in high spirits.

Sue, thanks so much for the update. I always think of your beautiful "kids" every time I see or hear about a GSD. It was time for an update, and Kimmy is right, it's time for new pictures too!!! Keep that internet working! We don't want to be out of touch!!!

By the way, there is a lady named Ellie, who posts over at Jackie's community and she also has her own. Not only is she an avid dog lover, and married to a veterinarian, she has a dog that suffers from Cushings and has been treated and checked, regularly at UPenn. I thought you might want to consider joining her group and talking with her about how her Snowdrop is being treated. Here's the link to her group, just in case you're interested.

You stand your ground, Killi; those girls can get mighty pushy! So glad to hear the kids are doing so well Sue, all things considered. Killian never fails to amaze me with his spirit and determination! If you're able, we'd love to see some new pics of the kids. Please give them both lots of hugs and kisses from me and of course, Star***Shine and Cutie Cody send slurpies and happy tail wags! Happy Birthday again big boy Love, Aunt Sandra

You all must be psychic! I've been so discabooberated lately that I haven't had much time on PT, but I honestly was just thinking about Killi and Shiloh! I truly meant to start a thread. Thanks guys for reading my mind! So Sue, so glad to hear from you that Klo's cuzes are doing OK, despite their health problems. I know it's so hard to watch them suffer even a teeny tiny bit. What troupers they are! I think about them all the time and they're always in my prayers! Happy Birthday, sweet, darling Killi from your devoted fans, K9 and Klo. We love you all!
