    Unhappy Today would have been Sami's 13th birthday

    It is a very, very sad day for me. This is the first birthday since Sami died last year. I thought I was good and going to be able to get thru this day (had my big cry last night), then I got a voice mail from my mom saying that she was thinking of me today, all the while she was crying. Now I'm just a mess.

    Happy 13th Birthday my dearest Sami. I hope you get cake across the RB just like I always made for you!!

    Thank you for your kindness. It is good to know that others understand how you feel. I will post some photos of Sami next week on the anniversary of her passing.

    BIG HUGS! We do know how very difficult these anniversaries are and my heart goes out to you I still cry, 6 years later, for my heartdog Jingles. I sounds like you lost your baby just shortly after her birthday, which is especially hard But you know, I have no doubts that Sami was treated to one very special birthday bash, there at the Rainbow Bridge with all of our beloved furangels And I know that Sami was looking down on you too, sending you all her love. She knows that one day, in the distant future, you and she will share a very joyful, happy reunion and I hope that gives you some comfort.
