I wanted to start a new thread so as not to bog down the announcement thread.

I've just ordered a living plant to be delivered to Randi at her home address. The girl is working up the total and will let me know. I know some of you have expressed a desire to send something so what I was thinking is you could send me whatever you think is appropriate. I will keep track of everything received and, deduct for the cost of the plant and send the rest to where ever Randi wishes.

I know Phred was working on something too, so I hope I didn't step on any toes, but the girl said it might take up to 5 business days to be delivered - and possibly longer because as you can guess, they are swamped with Valentine's day orders. This is why I just went ahead and did it - didn't want to wait any longer.

So, I have no details as of yet except that I've given the girl the information.

If you are definitely in, PM me and I'll give you my address. You're going to have to trust me and send the check directly to me - in my name, or you can wait until we get the official announcement from Randi and then send it directly to wherever she chooses. However, I'm quite trustworthy - if I do say so myself. And unfortunately I can't accept credit cards, I'm not a bank, but I sure wish I was.

So, let the posts begin, let me know what you all think and we'll see if we can do this in the least painful way.
