ID my pup!

hello all.

Just over a year ago i adopted my pup Tito from an animal shelter. he and his litter were abandoned at about a week after birth.

since i have had him everyone asks what breeds does he have in him, and i have no clue!!! LOL the vet said he looked like a fox terrier crossed with a whippet and or podenco canario (aka canary warren hound).

just wondering if any of you can give me your opinions.

i think most people assume he has whippet in him because he is SUPER fast and full of energy!!! he weighs in at about 20 kilos/ 44 pounds, but he is about 16 months old so i think he still has some filling in to do

He looks pretty much like a wirehaired sighthound mixed with some sort of terrier, or at least that's where he got his looks from. I think he is very far removed from any pure breed though. My dog is almost un recognisable as far as what breeds he is mixed with. He is probably ACD. I started a poll to see what others think.

I would say terrier mix too, but not sure which terrier. he's got a lovely expression

well there is definatly some terrier in there lol the first pic makes him look a little BCish so perhaps a borderjack/sighthound mix that some idiot created thinking flyball people would be intrested soley because of the mix not realizing that no sane flyball person would get that mix unless both the sir and dam have made names for themselves in the doggie sport world lol

that basenji is super cute. when tito is playing ball or listening closely his ears stand up just like that.

lol look at that ear. Maggies does the same thing, she's a mix too, I was told Beagle/Foxhound but I'm thinking more along the lines of Boxer/Beagle. But look at those ears lol
