    Anyone using Skype?

Do any of you use Skype? If so, do you like it?

Never heard of it. The most I use is AIM and Yahoo messenger. I don't like ICQ.

Keeping up with ICQ, AIM, MSN, and Yahoo is enough work so I don't use Skype.

I use it, and I LOVE IT!!!!!

Especially good if you have friends overseas that you want to chat to.

I am attempting to get delidog onto it, so I can chat to her!!!!

A friend of mine in the UK told me about it. Sent me the links and all but I haven't gotten to it...

    Sara,

It is great for chatting to overseas friends.

All you do is when you see them online, you click on the GREEN handset, and they answer, and using the Internet connection you both have, you can TALK!!! No charge (except perhaps if you pay for dialup Internet), but WAyyyyyyy cheaper!!!

It is fantastic to just "chat" too - like MSN

I like Trillian. I haven't put it on my new computer yet but it handles AIM, Yahoo, ICQ and MSN messenger too, I think. You can sign into all of them. www.trillian.cc

WOW Val - that looks pretty good too!!!

I must admit I have MSN Yahoo ICQ id's, but I cannot use them from work, and don't use the PC much at home - so SKype works for me from that point of view.

However, I have alot of friends who will love trillian - Thanks so much!!

I have it, but haven't actually used it yet.

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our life whole

  13. I havent downloaded it yet.. but it reminds me of previous things that i downloaded for my dad.. they worked good.
but after a while they charged money to use them...

so,, i say enjoy it while you can.

  14. This may be a stupid question but.....into what do you talk?

LOL! If you have a microphone connected to your computer, you just 'talk'. They also have headsets you can wear with an attached mic. You can voice chat on pretty much any instant messenger.
