Kay's thread on her scrap book of the dogs, inspired me to start one
I *LOVE* doing artsy things...so I am surprised I didn't start something like this sooner, but i think i am hooked now
I started one for Christian ( my skin kid)...Dale will be next
Joann's is having a great sale, only $5 for the scrap book, and then i bought some supplies too...

There is a poem I wrote right after Christian was born, and that is to the right of his pic...

Welcome Sweet Angel...
We have good news to share,
our baby is on the way;
so patiently we wait;
with every passing day.
Who will he look like,
what will we see;
will he look like you;
will he look like me.
I dream of our angel,
with tears in my eyes;
what a miracle from God;
these are happy cries.
I feel him so close,
with each kick on my side;
he’s growing so fast;
my tummy, I can’t hide.
I can’t wait to hold him,
my angel from above;
he’s all I’ve ever dreamed of;
my heart overflows with love.
This little boy is precious,
God has placed him in my arms;
I will guard him with my heart;
I will shelter him from all harms.
He needs me now for comfort,
he cries for me to be near;
I hold my sleeping baby;
angel, you never have to fear.
His eyes so blue are gleaming,
his smile so cute and petite;
I love his little fingers;
oh, and those tiny feet!
His giggle is contagious,
his coos so soft and sweet;
his frowns are even cute;
but those cries, let’s not repeat
Someday he’ll be grown,
and time will take it’s measure;
but for now I’m gonna savor,
this little baby, my treasure!!
