Joey at the shelter..

I just saw this dog, he's a Catahoula/Aussie mix, and he's at the Grass Valley shelter. I am in love with him, almost to the point of crying when I read his story. My dad said we could stop by and look at him on the way home... but I don't even know if he'll be around by then!? It just breaks my heart to hear his story, and it seems like he is perfect for us... he loves dogs, and even kids!! It says his time at the shelter was up 12/15! He is already neutered, and his adoption fee is only $10. I don't know why in the world anyone wouldn't adopt him, and I just wish I would've seen this weeks ago... . He was on BCRNC, and on there it said he was still alive on January 2nd. I'm going to call them when they open in about 15 minutes, to see if he's still there...

I was just talking to them they said he's still available! And will be on Saturday, unless some one adopts him! I *really* hope my Dad lets us go... we have never been without 2 or more dogs, and he loves dogs but my stepmom is kind of a witch and says she only wants 1. I'm hoping to GOD that she somehow falls in love with him! I atleast want to foster him. The lady there said he is the sweetest boy... ^__^

oh, and the lady said he is actually more like a Border Collie mix. even better ! thanks for the good luck!

Joey is an OWNER TURN IN Dog:
adoption date is 12-15-04 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date. This is what Joey's owner had to say. We had to turn Joey over to the animal shelter because we can't afford to keep a pet right now. Joey's 3 years old, neutered, up todate with routine shots, on heart guard, is Large/Medium in size has been an Inside/outside dog, is housetrained, enjoys rides in the car, walks on a leash, sits when asked, he's friendly, affectionate, loving, playful, VERY obedient and well mannered, an awsome dog, smart and alert, Joey got along with other dogs and children. We feel Joey may make some family very happy, he was an outsatnding family member and very loyal companion for us. Because Joey's already neutered, the adoption fee is only $10.00
