    Prayers.. please

My great-grandma just died. I guess she knew her time was coming because she went back home to her village, in China, when she got ill. She lived to the ripe age of 102. A relative was over there -he also recently lost a family member to leukemia- so I suppose he'll be taking care of everything.

I feel horrible. Not just for my great-grandma, but for my grandma as well. A year ago, she fell on the ice and hit her head. She had to have surgury on the back of her head and hasn't been the same since. She has been ill for quite some time. And very recently, the fairly young relative died of leukemia. And now, this. My deceased grandpa's birthday is coming up on Christmas Eve as well.. I can't imagine what she's going through. Not only does she have to deal with this death.. but she won't be getting any closure as she's too ill to travel. Ugh.. life really isn't fair sometimes.

My mom is too afraid to go to bed because she fears waking up to a phone call about my grandma taking the news really roughly.

So if you could pray for her, to keep her strong, I'd appreciate it.

Your family will certainly be in our prayers. Even at 102 years old (what a long, wonderful life), it's hard to lose someone we love.

    Take care.

Oh Ashley, my heart goes out to you and your family at this sad time. What a long life your Great-Grandmother had and you are so blessed to have known her.

Call me if you need to talk, OK?

I'm so sorry. Prayers on the way.

How wonderful that your great grandmother lived to 102 and was able to go back home. I hope your grandmother finds the strength she needs to get through this very tough time.

Prayers and Hugs on the way Ashley xxxx

What a wonderful age to live to - just think all she'd seen in her lifetime.

I know you'll feel dreadful - but hang on in there.
