YEAaaaaaa! I am home and before dark this time! Been a long time since I got off and got home this EARLY! We were not that far away and were working down here for about the last week having delays because of the fog and weather.. (Goodie, goodie!) We left Baton Rouge last night heading north and what took us more than 12 hours to cover on the boat, only took us a hour to cover on land today to get back to Baton Rouge.
Had a great trip and Thanksgiving was great. I never had a meal dissapear like this one did, they about ate everything at lunch and I had planned on left overs for supper. Lucklie, not to many even wanted supper. I made candy, cookies, pies and cakes ahead of time and froze them and once that was all set out, that went fast too.. That is pretty much what they had for supper since they ate so much at lunch, they couldn't eat any desert and that was all they wanted at supper... The desert they couldn't eat at lunch.
I been reading the threads on L & L and their trip. I sure am going to miss those two and yes, I am a bit dissapointed that I didn't get to spend more time with them before they left. QSL, Leslie, aren't they just the sweetiest pair of little luv bugs? I sure am going to miss them but now I got my hopes up that they can get their furever home for Christmas and get started on their new life as spoiled pampered boys, having all the great things they deserve.
MERRY CHRISTMAS everybody! I can't wait to catch up on what I missed while I was gone. Have I missed anything really great or important?
