    Turkey day for the "Brats"

We had a wonderful dinner with only Magoo in sight. Leroy was exhausted from helping me all day and slept through dinner while everyone else hid. Sometimes that upsets me but then on the other hand I'm kind of glad we don't have twelve of them trying to snatch everyone's dinner!!

We had two small children ripping and running through the house, six adults, a baby and Magoo only got stepped on once! This was his first time we have had that many people at one time since we have had him and he did wonderful! After dinner he was the life of the party and wanted in on everything. He played with everyone and seemed especially interested in the sounds of coo's and cry's from the baby. I'm
still shocked at how social he has become.
Pepper Jack only licked the turkey once and I didn't tell anyone!!!

    Leroy supervising

Magoo waits patiently for all those hours to pass

Finally dad is carving the turkey!!

Turkey scraps start hitting the floor

    Magoo really likes turkey

Magoo had his fill and napped while we ate and then play time began.

He's so curious about the baby

I had to share this picture. After everyone left and all the brats had more turkey they started playing. Rosco got under the sheet and began jumping out at every unsuspecting cat that walked by. The wet spot on the sheet is where he scared Peanut Butter so bad he peed!!! We laughed so hard we thought we were going to do the same thing! Stubby didn't see the humor and right after this picture she jumped down and gave Rosco a blanket party that he will never forget! He stayed away from the chair for awhile after that.

To quote Sirrahbeds famous line...Oops, how did this get in there?!
Here is our newest Grandaughter. My little elfin baby Katie. Those little ears remind me so much of an elf!

    Well that was our day!

I'm so proud of Magoo! What a great boy he has become! You knew he could do it when you saw him at the shelter... he just needed you to proove your love to him in those early few months.

And your little elfin is just beautiful!

What a great day you all had. Love the story! I'm so glad that Magoo was taking part in the fun, I can hardly believe the change from when you first got him.

LOL about the turkey. I'm sure everyone survived eating it - lucky Pepper Jack didn't get his teeth or claws through the skin.

Sounds like the kitties had a great turkey day!

Everyday is turkey day for my brats! They LOVE their turkey! I actually go as far as buying roasted turkey breast for them at the deli every week, LOL. Spoiled rotten!

    ROFPMP!!!

What's a little kitty spit between good friends and family right? Geesh, he was only basting it! That baby elf is such a cutie. What a guy Magoo that you took such a shining to the baby, and were so well behaved during so much commotion.
