I have filled out adoption papers and have been approved to get a doberman. It is almost time for us to make the 3 hour drive to go get one. We are working with 2 different rescue places. One place doesn't have a good selection, and most of their dogs are not cat friendly. So we also wanted to go through another place, which most of their dogs are cat friendly. I can't wait. This weekend I am going to go shopping for toys and a bed and all that fun stuff.

I will be calling to make sure the rescue place is opem on December 18th. I hope they are. My husband will have that whole week off to spend time with the dog.
