Dear Alex's mommy/daddy- I applaud you, it is a lot of work taking care of any pet, especially a bird, and at your young age that shows a lot of responsibility. He is beautiful and I'm glad that you two have become close friends...friends are very important, and as you grow older and friends from school come and go your Alex will always be there for you. I'm terribly sorry to hear about the tragic loss of your other bird, I know how hard it is to witness something like that, as I also witnessed the tragic death of my beloved dog, I was your age when I brought her home, she is my gaurdian angel and I'm sure your bird is watching over you and Alex as well!
