Great! Okay, it's now time for positive re-enforcement. Now, I'm not saying your husband is like a dog -- but we all know that it's easier to train a pet if you reward them for their good behavior instead of punish them for their bad behavior. Sooooooo, what kind of reward are you going to give him?
Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

You could reward him with these words, "the cats thank you". (He should be aware that this IS going to be his duty for quite some time!) The reward is the baby! (And you not having to ask him to clean the litter box!)
