This is my 13 year old male golden retriever named Goldie. He's a sweet old man.

What a beautiful senior boy. I'm sorry he has pain. We are dealing with the same thing with our 14 year old Lab. She is so stiff and I know that the cooler weather isn't helping that at all.

On a "lighter" note, we have 3 Golden Retrievers too! Honey and Lilly are 5 years old and half sisters (they have the same father) and we also have Zipper whose age is estimated to be around 9 years old. He's a rescue boy so we're not sure when he was born exactly, but her has that graying face and I think it is so handsome!

What a sweet senior you are, Goldie. I love your white face.
I also have a Golden who will be 12 in January, but my girl refuses to show her age, she has just one eyebrow which is turning white right now. She understands your hip problems and says that the best cure for them are very long naps.

Do a little reading on the benefits and possible side effects of Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulphate & MSM. We've had 12-14 year-old greyhounds respond well to these. Maybe your sweet old fella could benefit as well.
