- Pound Dogs [17 pictures] -

Once again, we (a couple friends and I) walked dogs at the pound. Despite the cruddy weather, we had lots of fun! The dogs were such sweet hearts. And needless to say, I took pictures of the cuties.

The sweetest (and strongest!) pittie! His name is Arlo.

Honey, the Border Collie/Terrier. While walking back to the shelter, a woman came by and told us she was interested in adopting her! She filled out the paper work so hopefully Honey will be going to her forever home soon!

This is Fefe. I've never seen myself as a small dog owner but oh my! I fell in love with this little one. She was incredibly sweet.

It was quite the sight to see a Pittie and Pomeranian walking side by side.

This cute fellow is Chessna. The sheet said he was a CollieX but he looked (and acted) more like a Border. We played fetch until my arms hurt.

(He kind of reminds me of Crikit's Smudge)

Honey is gorgeous!! And Fefe reminds me of my girls! I love all those dogs!! Arlo is such a beautiful pittie! I want to take Chessna and Fefe home!!!!! hehe

Wonderful pictures. What a bunch of sweethearts! Chessna stole my heart since he reminds me of a BC mix that a rescue friend of mine has been trying to home for months. Sounds like a very active boy!
I hope they all find homes very soon!

What a very neat thing to do going to the pound to walk the kidsies! Is this a volunteer job? I would like to check into something like that here..that is a great idea!!

Those dogs are all beautiful..that would be the hard part, wanting to "save them all!"

Yup! We volunteer at the Vancouver Animal Shelter. It's lots of fun but you're right, it's hard going home without one (although.. I did happen to bring one home so far. )
