    Please Meet Dutchess!!

    Somone asked me to take there puppy today (I own my own shelter) and of course I said yes! She was supposed to come Sunday but the date was bumped up. She is 8 weeks old and is a mix of some sort of dog's She is SUPER adoarble, VERY friendly and a just about the cutest thing I have ever seen! We are already looking hard for a home for her and will hopefully find one for her soon





    Look she is only the size of Connor's head!!




    Look at her nose, it's pink with black spots!


    The thing behind her is a CAT carrier!

    Thats because I never posted about it. I don't get many replys on my threads and with most things I don't mind, but this was something that was huge to me and I didn't want to post about it with me all exited and only get like 4 replys. So I just kept it to myself. (BTW: This isn't a Pitty me post, I just don't want you to think that I am lying about owning a shelter or something like that. I love PT very much, it's my home.)

    I am in the process of getting accepted by Pet finder.com .
    My vet is filing out the paper work needed since I do not have a non-profit license and I should be picking that up this week.

    Here is the shelters web page: Chewy's Nova I'm very happy to report thats since January 29th, 2004 I have saved 60 animals and the only ones still looking for homes are 2 rabbits and Dutchess!

    Anyway! Dutchess loves her kennel and is doing VERY well adjusting to her temp. home.

    Miranda_Rae - You don't have to steal her, you can adopt her! LOL.

    Yes you are right, it's more of a private rescue. Sorry, my wording is wrong, not that I think exact wording is needed here on PT and most people knew what I ment.

    No, Breeze had a going away party because the organization only gives us days to know before they take her. For instance, we found out on Tuesday she was leaving next monday. That does not give us enough time to plan a party and get people here. So, we through it after she got her X-rays, and it should have been 2 weeks after that, but it ended up taking longer. If you would like me to go into more detail I can, although it's a pretty boreing story!

    Hey Ash, I checked out your website and it looks great but you might want to change the wording. Instead of shelter write rescue, it might confuse some people who go to look at it.
