I would also like to state (for the record) that I'm VERY jealous of my mom because she got to see the Beatles. I'm angry that I'm too young to have ever seen them in concert because they are my all time favorite band.

Most the concerts I've seen were in the 80s with bands like Journey, Police, Alabama, Bryan Adams, Survivor and so on.

The past 10-12 years I've only seen Jazz artist like Rippingtons, Pat Methany Group, Craig Chaquico and so on.

When I was a kid I wanted to see them so badly! I remember I was jealous because my friends mom took her up to Houston to go see them. I tried to convince my parents, but for some reason they didn't want to make the 6 hour drive to see the New Kids on the Block.

Edit: I grew up in San Francisco next to Golden Gate Park where we went to FREE concerts. Yup, I saw Janice Joplin, Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane (now I go to AA meetings with Grace Slick!), Sons of Champlin, Country Joe McDonald, Jim Morrison and the Doors, Jimi Hendrix (YES!), etc. Those were the days! I was too young to smoke and drink during the Summer of Love so I do remember those concerts!

I've met Grace, Eric Clapton, Michael Boulton and Peter Tork of the Monkies.

OMG I saw them when they first came out. It was like '95 or '96. That was actually my first concert. What an experience!!

Lol, same here. I also went to a lot of concerts in the early to mid 90's.
