Flyball races that is. Well today was our first Flyball comp back for the season and oh what a day.
The weather started out beautiful and sunny but by mid morning the rain started to come down quite heavily, we had to stop racing for half and hour and have a meeting to see who wanted to continue racing and who did'nt (For the dogs safety) it was decided we would halve the number of races and finish early.
Our gorgeous dogs ran practicly fault free all day, even our 2 first time competitors Maggie (BC mix) and Henry (Black Labby) did exceptionally well and not once did they cross the centre line and get done for interference.
We had 3 teams of 5 dogs entered the results were.....
Ballarat*Eureka 1st place division 2.
Ballarat*Eureka Gold Diggers (The team Clover is in), 1st place division 3.
And our green team, Older dogs, Some new dogs and dogs recovering from illness or injury get put into this team. They did great all day i am so proud of them.
